Study authorization extended for Canadian work permit holders

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently announced a new temporary measure, eliminating the restriction on the duration of study programs that temporary foreign workers can attend without a study permit. The policy has become effective immediately.

Under this measure of three years, foreign workers in Canada are allowed to pursue full-time or part-time studies throughout the validity of their work permits or until the policy expires; a study permit is not required, nor is the length of the program limited.
