Expect a delayed reply if you are sending an online enquiry to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) via web form recently. It is because IRCC is “focusing on priority enquiries only” per its website (IRCC).
According to IRCC, the priority enquiries can be:
∎ Afghanistan related enquiry;
∎ Change of personal status that may affect an existing application;
∎ Parental and grandparental sponsorship program of 2021; or
∎ Application withdrawal or refund request.
As the situation is fluid, it is advisable to check with IRCC for up-to-date information.
