2021 is a record-breaking year.
According to a recent news release from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Canada has “welcomed more than 401,000 new permanent residents” since the start of 2021; this is the highest number achieved within one single year in Canadian history.
The outcome is also phenomenal given the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
