On April 22, 2022, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced the resumption of invitations under three temporarily paused streams for permanent residence via Express Entry. The scheduled time to carry out these draws is the coming July.
The streams to be resumed are Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades; the processing time for most of these new applications will be six months, per IRCC.
The HMC team is aware that IRCC has been inviting the candidates exclusively under Provincial Nominee Program through Express Entry since September 15, 2021, excluding the other three categories.
