Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently released details of the parental and grandparental sponsorship program for Canadian permanent residency for 2022.
IRCC is said to have been sending out invitations to apply since the announcement was made on October 11, 2022. A total of 23,100 invitations will be disseminated over two weeks; the number of applications IRCC aims to collect will be 15,000.
The sponsors receiving invitations are only those who already submitted interest-to-sponsor forms in 2020.
