According to the 2022-2024 Immigration Levels Plan announced by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) last month, the intake of Canadian permanent residents through the parental and grandparental sponsorship program in 2022 is targeted at 25,000.
The process of how to apply this year has yet to be released.
Under the plan, the intake target for 2023 rises to 28,500, and for 2024, it further climbs to 32,000.
