Canada well-paced toward the goal of permanent resident admission for 2022 – from Quarter 1 data

According to a news release by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) yesterday, Canada welcomed over 108,000 new permanent residents during the first quarter of 2022.

As Canada is planning to receive 431,645 new permanent residents within this year, the intake of the first three months shows that Canada appears to be on the right track to meeting the target.
