An electronic petition (e-petition) for Canadian citizenship applicants has appeared on the House of Commons’ website. It is open for signatures till June 4, 2022.
Either of the following groups of people can sign:
- applicants whose citizenship applications submitted in 2019 and 2020 are still under processing
- their friends and relatives who are affected by the processing delays
According to the House of Commons, people eligible to sign must be either citizens or residents of Canada, and here is the path of an e-petition.
